In 2014, Golden Dragon first launched the deep integration work of IT applications with industrialization. Thanks to this, it is taking the lead in China’s national drive for further deepened integration of IT applications with industrialization, which was launched by the Ministry of Industry and Information not long ago.
In Golden Dragon’s blueprint for its bus production in the future, managerial staff is not only able to see every small detail in the whole bus manufacturing process, but they can take control of them as well. The MES production execution system, which is to be rolled out soon by Golden Dragon, is the latest achievement of the bus maker’s ambition to further integrate IT applications into its bus manufacturing process. Now, the system has already been put into use at one workshop in the company. Thanks to its high intelligence, the location of each product is closely and accurately tracked, any problem is immediately filed, and all the production data are easily collected and analyzed.
To meet every customer’s specific needs, a bus maker usually needs to accomplish quite a few daunting tasks. To further improve its production efficiency and boost its productivity, Golden Dragon is now introducing BOM vehicle type intelligent platform, intelligent R&D platform, and customers’ needs-driven order placement platform. Moreover, Golden Dragon is the first bus maker in China having Teamcenter System, which significantly helps the company improve its corporate management.
