According to Ankai, the bus maker successfully managed to sell over 1,000 new energy buses in the first half of 2015. At the same time, Ankai produced 4,301 units buses; up by 18.62% year on year and it sold 4,182 units, up by 8.79% year on year. The sales of Ankai’s new energy buses accounted for about one fifth of its total sales.
On June 19, Ankai received an order of 300 new energy buses with a total value of 52.2867 million RMB from Dalian Transport Group Co., Ltd. On April 24, Ankai signed a sales agreement of 378 units plug-in hybrid buses with Guangzhou No. One Bus Co., Ltd. With a total value of 343 million RMB, it accounts for 7.1% of Ankai’s audited business revenue in 2014.
In the first half of 2015, Ankai realized a net profit of 26-31 million RMB, up by 133%-178% year on year. The increase of its net profit is chiefly caused by the rise of the company’s sales of new energy buses and its strengthened profitability.
