In August, Zhongtong Buses realized a monthly revenue of over 600 million RMB with its sales volume reaching 1,800 units, making a new record high in its history.
As of the end of August, Zhongtong’s sales revenue increased by over 40%. Against the sluggish overall bus industry landscape, the bus maker still successfully managed to move up to the top performers, Furthermore, it has further consolidated its position as the top three players in the building and selling buses measuring over six meters in length.
On August 29, Zhongtong released a report on its business performance in the earlier half of 2015. After deducting its non-recurring gains and losses, Zhongtong’s business profits grew by 206%, way above all other counterparts.
In 2014, Zhongtong moved to its new energy efficient & new energy bus base. Boasting an annual production volume of 30,000 units, the company has brought its production procedures and product quality to an immensely higher level. With internationally advanced production facilities and rising popularity among the public, the bus maker has successfully improved its brand image and profitability.
Zhongtong attributes its business success to its constant efforts to make new technological innovations. Supported by its National Technological Certification Center and Postdoc Research Workshop, the company has greatly strengthened its competitiveness in technological innovations in such frontier areas as bus safety & reliability and energy efficiency. According to the bus maker, its new plant with an annual production volume of 6,000 sets plug-in coupling system will soon be put into operation. In the meantime, its battery cell production line will be lauched shortly. All these efforts has laid a solid foundation for Zhongtong’s future development and business expansion.
