Held once every two years, BUSWORLD EXPO has long become the trend-setter of the global bus industry. Along with the rising status of buses made in China, “Made-in-China” buses have become an essential part of this much-anticipated and well-recognized event.

According to Golden Dragon, its exhibition booth at this year’s event will be located at No.135 in No.1 Exhibition Hall. With 400 square meter exhibition area, it will bring its three latest bus models on display, including XML6129 EURO-VI equipped with WABCO vehicle stabilizing system and AEBS system, 9.5-meter XML6937 luxury coach, and 12-meter XML6121 intercity bus. Built with the state-of-art environmentally friendly technologies and materials, the three Golden Dragon bus models mentioned above fully meet the European emission standards and various other regulations and can well suit the market needs. They also promise better profitability for bus operators.

Starting from zero, China’s bus industry has witnessed robust growing momentum in the past few decades. The focus of bus makers in China has gradually shifted from “quantity” to “quality”. In the next ten years, China’s bus makers are determined to push the overall industry to a new height by technological innovations. A team of passionate young engineers from Golden Dragon, all knowledgeable in their respective fields, such as new energy, IoT technologies and human engineering, are working against the clock to revolutionize the bus world.

So far, five Golden Dragon bus models have successfully won WVTA certificate from EU. Currently, these buses have made their presence in five countries in EU. Earlier this year, 177 units Golden Dragon coaches with EURO-VI emission standard arrived in Israel for operation, marking a new milestone in the history of China’s high-end bus export.

In 2014, Golden Dragon’s overseas market also witnessed an explosive growth. For the whole year, the company sold over 8,600 units buses. Its sales revenue exceeded one billion RMB, up by over 55% year on year. With diversified products and expanding markets, Golden Dragon is now planning to further speed up its expansion in the European market. “We are now in talks with several bus operators in EU and we expect to see more Golden Dragon buses providing transport services here in Europe,” says Wu Wei, Deputy General Manager in charge of Golden Dragon’s overseas marketing business.
