On Nov. 4, Golden Dragon successfully delivered 50 units of XML6215CC city buses which are in line with Euro VI emission standard to its customer DAN based in Israel. According to the bus maker, the rest of 87 units of city buses will be handed over to its customer within this year. An official from DAN made a special visit to Xiamen to attend the delivery ceremony.
In earlier 2015, a city in South Israel invited public bidding for its city bus purchases. One of the Israel"s largest bus operator DAN also participated in the bidding and it successfully won the bid. In preparation for its successful bid, DAN set up a brand new subsidiary called DAN South. After winning the bid, the bus operator made thorough investigations to make comparisons among different brands of buses before making its final decision. In the end, DAN chose Golden Dragon and placed an order of 137 units of XML6125CC city buses.
When asked the bus operator DAN why it chose Golden Dragon, it explained that its decision was made based on several good reasons. First, Golden Dragon has already established a visible and sizable presence in Israel and it has successfully won the hearts of many local customers. For all these, Israeli customers have gained even more confidence in Golden Dragon products.
An Introduction of XML6125CC city bus
As a low-floor city bus, Golden Dragon XML6125CC city bus is specifically designed for the high-end market. With an entry height of only 340mm and a door width of 1,250 mm, the bus achieves much higher efficiency for loading and unloading passengers.
In addition, equipped with Voith transmission gearbox and Fiat Power Technology Curson C9 engine which well accommodates ZF axle and is in line with Euro VI emission standards. With a maximum power of 228kw, the highly efficient and high energy-saving engine boasts a maximum torque of 1,300 Nm. With a highly selective catalytic reduction system (HI-sSCR) solely owned by Fiat Power Technology, Curson C9 engine is able to cut the emission of nitrogen oxide by over 95%.
