On November 11, five Golden Dragon buses successfully passed computer simulated test and RDW assessment conducted by the Ministry of Netherland. Thus, they all obtained EU certificates. The success marks China’s first case of getting EU certificate through the adoption of computer simulation test. It also ushers a new era for the entry of Golden Dragon’s fuel-powered buses.
Authorized by ECE, RDW is a well-renowned road & vehicle management organization in Netherland. It is in charge of certifying vehicles to enter EU market. As one of the few certifying bodies, it has power to conduct related investigation in the beginning to the final authorization and certificate release. Compared with the previous physical test, computer simulated test is much lower in price and surely is a much more economically feasible way to enter EU market.
