Recently, Foton announced that it has received orders of new energy buses from companies involved in public transportation sector and bus rental sector from Guangdong, Beijing, Zhejiang and Hebei. Each deal involves over the purchase of over 150 Foton AUV new energy buses. In total, the auto maker has secured a combined deal of 1,574 environmentally friendly buses.
Foton attributes its winning of these big deals to the rising popularity of its new energy buses both at home and abroad, which are set to play an increasingly important role in reducing PM2.5 and other pollutants and safeguarding the urban air quality.
It is revealed that Foton AUV chiefly makes a great deal of efforts in promoting its plug-in hybrid buses, which are either jointly powered by oil-electricity or gas-electricity. In the field of electric buses, Foton AUV has been continuously strengthening its competitiveness in small- and medium-sized buses. These electric buses can be recharged in varied modes, such as fast recharging, slow recharging, fast battery replacement and real-time recharging. Boasting a wide spectrum of new energy buses measuring from 6.5 meters to 18 meters in length, Foton AUV is well positioned to provide its customers with new energy buses in artery public transport bus routes and the last-one-kilometer transportations.
