On December 1, Ankai secured a deal of 400 A8 electric buses. In November, it signed a sales contract with Hefei Public Transport for 618 new energy buses. Within a month, the bus maker"s sales exceeds 1,000 units, fully demonstrating the continuous expansion of business in the new energy bus sector.
In 2015, Ankai has made significant achievements in the research & development, production and sales of new energy vehicles. In this year, it has set up Electric Bus System Integration Engineering & Technological Research Center, the first and only one in China. In the meantime, its new energy production base with an annual production volume of 6,000 units has completed its construction and has already been put into operation. In addition, its workshop for vehicle body electrophoresis, representing the highest coating technological level in China, has also been put into use, which has greatly upgraded its manufacturing capacity and overall competitiveness. In an effort to better serve its customers, Ankai has also launched a series of programs which have been well received by its customers.
Early this year, over 250 units Ankai new energy buses arrived in Shanghai for operation, marking a new beginning for the bus maker"s business expansion in China"s top tier metropolis. On April 8, Guangzhou Public Resources Exchange Center bought 378 Ankai plug-in hybrid buses. On June 19, Dalian Transport Group purchased 300 Ankai new energy city buses. On November 19, 430 Ankai electric buses measuring eight-meter in length were delivered to Liaocheng, Shandong for official operation, ushering an era of green public transport.

With its technological research and development, marketing and promotion of new energy buses, Ankai has maintained its leading position in China. So far, it has successfully received certifications for a total number of 80 Ankai new energy bus models from the government, ranking the first place among all bus makers in China. In addition, it has carried out demonstration operation in over 40 cities across the nation and has been gaining rising popularity among customers. Thanks to the establishment of its National New Energy Vehicle Engineering Center, Ankai is set to become a key technological R&D center, an important talent training base, and a technological exchange platform for new energy bus industry in China. With the opening of its R&D Center and the official operation of its new energy bus manufacturing base, Ankai is now capable of producing 6,000 units new energy buses, 12,000 sets of power assembly for buses, and 15,000 sets of key power assembly for new energy buses.
