On November 4, 2015, Golden Dragon exported 50 units XML6125CC with Euro VI emission standards to Israel-based Dan Company. Within the same year, the remaining 87 units city buses with the same specifications also arrived in Israel for operation. To gain a much deeper understanding of the bus maker, managerial staff from Dan Company paid a special visit to Xiamen, where the headquarters of Golden Dragon is located, and attended the delivery ceremony.
In early 2015, a city in south Israel invited bids for the vehicles on its public transport routes. Dan Company, as one of the largest transport companies, set up a subsidiary Dan South, in an effort to win the bid. After its successful bidding, the bus operator chose Golden Dragon after several rounds of comparisons and special investigations. At that time, Dan Company bought 137 units XML6125CC city buses with Euro VI emission standards.
Several reasons contributed to Dan Company’s final decision to choose Golden Dragon. First and foremost, Golden Dragon has already established a sizable presence in Israel after years’ of business exploration in the country. Secondly, Golden Dragon buses have long won the recognition of both passengers and bus operators thanks to their high reliability and a host of travel amenities.
