At the beginning of 2016, Zhongtong successfully launched its brand new electric business light bus to the market, also known "Landi". Following its "Qingzhou", another version of electric light bus made by Zhongtong at the end of 2015 and having won an order of 2,300 units, Landi marks a new major move for the bus maker in the field of electric light buses.
Landi, which literally means "Green Dream and Better Future", fully demonstrates the bus maker"s high expectations for the vehicle. The eco-friendly bus is intended to make its due contributions to the nation"s cause for emission reduction and push the electric buses made in China for business reception to a new historical height. It is revealed that Landi is chiefly targeted at such customers as government organizations, enterprises, and travel agencies, all of which have high demands for high-quality business reception vehicles.
The first batch of Landi electric light buses will be off the production line and delivered to their customers in January this year. From March this year, Landi is expected to realize mass production. With both Landi and Qingzhou series electric light buses on hand, Zhongtong is now well positioned to explore the huge light bus market potential in the next few years to come.
