On December 18, a series of activities which are an essential part of the Tenth Great Influence to China Buses Industry were held in Beijing. This year’s event was jointly organized by www..com and Urban Public Transport Sub-society affiliated to China Civil Engineering Society.
After one month collecting votes online from both home and abroad, the result of the Tenth Great Influence to China Buses Industry 2015-2016 Readership Survey was finally disclosed to the public. Zhongtong has won the honor as the Best Employer in China Bus Industry 2015.
Zhongtong Bus Wins the Best Employer in China Bus Industry 2015
Zhongtong granted this honor again after 2013 signifies the market’s recognition in the bus maker’s achievements in these years especially the year of 2015.
Bucuking the downside trend in 2015, Zhongtong has made an impressive performance. According to Sun Qingmin, General Manager of Zhongtong, from January to October this year, the company saw its sales revenue go up by 55.1% year on year. Among those bus makers which boasted sales revenue of over five billion RMB, Zhongtong ranked the first in terms of the growth rate. In the same period, it sold 6,200 units new energy buses.
Zhongtong has achieved balanced development on all respects including enterprise scale, benefit, quality and profitability, which established an important cornerstone for the bus maker’s "double ten-billion" strategy, realizing enterprise value of ten billion and output value of ten billion.
Zhongtong has been upgraded not only in terms of capacity but also in technology innovation ability. Back in November 2014, Zhongtong moved to the new production plant in Liaocheng Development Zone which boasts capacity of 30,000 units. The new plant introduced international advanced technology and production equipment, reaching a new level in all aspects including intelligence, environmental protection, quality and efficiency as well as labor conditions.
With the development of new energy bus technology, in recent years, Zhongtong has made noticeable efforts in introduction of talent and training. Members in technical research and development team increased to over 300 from just 120 back in 2011. Marketing team is another crucial part to company development. There are more than 480 employees in Zhongtong domestic marketing group and more than 100 in overseas marketing groups which spread in over 90 countries and regions in the world.
In terms of corporate social responsibility, for the past over forty years, Zhongtong has always been dedicated itself in social service. It has contributed itself to the economic development, environment improvement and other various respects of social development.
Apart from contribute in quality improvement, to help its customers solve a variety of pressing difficulties, Zhongtong rolled out “5+3” electric bus operation mode, which is designed to provide better selection, financing, recharging, maintenance, after-sales, spare parts provision, and emergency services for customers.
Awarded "Best Employer" for the second time is not only recognition for Zhongtong but also an incentive.
