Yinlong Energy 2016 New Products Release Conference & Technology Seminar, jointly organized by China passenger car association, Zhuhai Yinlong Energy and Zhuhai Guangtong Auto, was grandly held at Zhuhai Holiday Resort Hotel on Mar.18th. Titled “Focused on LTO, Explore New Business Mode”, the conference discussed innovative business mode and new trend of new energy vehicles around LTO technology, which was thought to be most potential, and strived to push a new great-leap forward development of new energy vehicle industry in China.

YLE saw a boost in sales last year with an annual growth rate of 2228% to 7000 E-buses, whose gross amount came to 5 billion CNY, and it quickly became one of the leading enterprises in new energy industry in China and strode forwarded to be the global top 500. Its electric vehicles have been carried in 23 districts including Guangdong province, Hebei province, Sichuan province, Beijing city, Tianjin city, Neimenggu province etc., and the sales volume of which ranked 7th.
Over 300 partners from more than 170 transport companies participated the meeting.
YLE 14 models of electric buses including vintage Dangdang BEV, city bus, double-decker BEV, 7m BEV(Coaster),6m BEV(Hiace),MPV(EFI), SUV and logistics were unveiled at the grand opening. The world-leading LTO technology and first-rate manufacturing skill of battery, motor and motor controller were well recognized by the presented customers.

At the following technology seminar, Doctor Zhang Changling of China Automotive Technology & Research Center made a technical report, which spoke highly of YLE’ development, especially of YLE exclusive technology-LTO battery because of its epoch-making significance on the whole new energy industry. One of the key reasons that why Beijing Public transit considered cooperating with YLE is that its BEV works well at a temperature of -30℃ in the northeast cities such as Beijing, Baotou, Anshan, Qiqihaer, which needs no more heating and can be instantly started, Zhang pointed out.

Through its strategic acquisition in 2010 of American listed company-America Altairnano and its insistency on research and innovation, YLE conquers the industry recognized problems on security, performance under extremely low temperature, fast charge and discharge capability, service life and battery industrialization. And it put rich technical force into R&D to solve the problems of low density and high cost. By 2015, the fourth generation LTO battery has been developed with its energy density up 30% and cost down 40% compared to the third generation. YLE shall further cut its cost by expand production to 1 billion Ah and scale-effect in 2016, the reporters from China Buses learnt.
The presented customers held that LTO battery is the new and most potential lithium-ion battery, which owns the advantages of high security, high stability, long service life and fast charge capability. With the continuous R&D on LTO battery from YLE and other leading enterprises, lithium-ion battery is expected to bring about a revolution on new energy industry in China or around the world.
The conference also had a in-depth discussion on YLE business mode. The innovative four party all-win mode achieves a coordination and unity among economy, environment and society from the following aspects: (a)zero down payment greatly alleviates one-off payment pressure on local government; (b)10-year guaranty for battery, motor and motor controller, and provide 24hour house-keeper service; (c) ten-year finance-leasing term by monthly mortgage;(d) spare vehicles to ensure smooth operation. The Vice president Mr. Ao adds, YLE will develop new business modes in 2016, and guaranty 10-year for battery, motor and motor controller, which fulfill the needs of high security, asset-light, no-risk and high efficiency for the government, and ensures safety, quality, efficiency and after-sales services through 24-hour house-keeper service for our customers based on the Internet Plus technology.
China has become the largest market around the world for new energy vehicles in 2015, and the whole new energy industry is now under a transformation progress from ‘quantity’ to ‘quality, striding forward mid-to-high end. And we believe a continuous growth in this industry in China, said Mr. President Wei, In the next five years, We will invest ten billion CNY to achieve following goals: (1) 660,000 new energy vehicles of all types; (2) 1500MWH of ESS; (3) production capacity of over 4 billion Ah of power battery; (4)over 4tons of LTO material; (5) more than 10000 charging station; and aims to be the first-class manufacturer in domestic new energy industry in 3-year, and be the leading enterprise of the world within 5-year with an output of hundred billion Ah.
All the presented customers have been invited to Yinlong Energy industrial park, and also to Gree Electric Appliance Inc, as these two groups are under a process of M&A. What kind of history will this action create? In Mr. President’ words of YLE, Gree’ advantages of brand, found and talent are what YLE needs——a larger pattern to achieve better performance.
