As Hainan Province’s first major bus procurement in 2016, 34 units Zhongtong LCK6100HD1 are now off the production line and going through the final stage of preparation before hitting on their journey to Hainan. Measuring 10-meters in length, LCK6100HD1 boasts a fashionably streamlined body which is immediately awe-inspiring. According to the bus maker, the coaches will all be delivered to their operator Hainan Haiqi Transportation Group in the middle of April.
As a leading carrier in the province, Hainan Haiqi Transportation Group now has over 2,300 units buses and coaches for short- and long-distance passenger transportation and 580 units travel coaches. With over 500 routes, it reaches almost every corner in Hainan and its total passenger volume accounts for over 95% of the overall passenger volume in Hainan. Plus the booming travel industry in the province, the carrier is particularly picky when it comes to adding new vehicles to its bus fleet.
In 2015, Hainan Haiqi Transportation Group bought 21 units Zhogntong LCK6100HD1 in total. In nearly one year’s operation, they have been outperforming other bus brands. Recently, 15 units were officially designated as the carriers for Boao Asia Forum. With such an impeccable operating record, 34 units Zhongtong LCK6100HD1 were chosen by Hainan Haiqi Transportation Group at the beginning of this year so as to help the bus operator further increase its passenger transportation capacity.
Enjoying high flexibility, Zhongtong LCK6100HD1 boasts high reliability, provides a wide array of travel comforts for its passengers. With integrally pressed downward bending body structure, it has an extended durability and can easily withstand strong impacts from outside. Its double stage water and oil removal structure in its piping system is able to provide cleaner compressed air and thus help extend the life expectancy of the vehicle’s braking system. A repair outlet in front of the vehicle makes it much easier to check gas pipe line and adjust front lamp. Its interval self-adjusting clutch gives the clutch a longer life expectancy. In addition, Zhongtong has made a great deal of efforts in optimizing the vehicle’s suspension system, internal space, seating layout, and internal noise reduction, making the road travel a truly enjoyable experience for all passengers.
Zhongtong entered Hainan province in 2004 and it started cooperation with Hainan Haiqi Transportation Group in 2008. So far, Zhongtong buses and coaches can be found in all 18 cities and counties across the province. In Haikou and Sanya, almost half of the urban city buses are branded with Zhongtong.
