The Seventh List of New Energy Vehicles Exempt from Tax Released

On April 15, China’s Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and State Administration of Taxation jointly released the seventh list of new energy vehicles which are exempt from purchasing taxes. Upon the submissions of auto makers, the government organizations mentioned above conducted thorough investigations based on their joint Announcement 2014 No.53.

So far, a total number of 369 bus models, 5 trucks, 202 vehicles used for special purposes and 32 electric passenger cars have successfully made their way into the list. In addition, 122 bus models and five passenger vehicles, all of which are powered by plug-in hybrid drivelines, have also entered the list.
