According to the latest statistics released by China’s Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM), the top ten bus makers with the largest sales volume in the first three months of 2016 are Jinbei (19,000 units), JMC (17,400 units), Yutong (12,400 units), BAIC Foton (8,800 units), Naveco (7,900 units), SAIC Maxus (7,100 units), King Long (5,900 units), Baoding Chang’an (5,500 units), Golden Dragon (5,100 units), and Zhongtong (3,400 units).
Compared with their sales volumes in the same period last year, five companies, including SAIC Maxus, Zhongtong, Yutong, BAIC Foton and JMC have all witnessed growth at varied rates. The rest five bus makers all experienced downward movements in their sales. From January to March this year, the combined sales of the top ten bus makers reached 92,500 units, accounting for 82.66% of the overall sales registered in China’s bus industry.
