CRRC Times Electric Signs 20,000-Set T-Power Systems with Chery Wanda

On June 6, CRRC Times Electric secured a sales contract with Chery Wanda for providing 20,000 sets T-Power electric driving systems, making it the largest key component order in China’s new energy vehicle sector. After their delivery, they will be mounted on buses, logistic vehicles and BRT city buses measuring 6-meter to 12-meter in length. 

 


Having won the Best New Energy Bus Component honor, T-Power system made by CRRC Times Electric has been gaining rising popularity among customers.



Having been involved in researching and developing power systems for new energy buses for over 15 years, CRRC Times Electric has made impressive achievements. To date, its T-Power system has gone through five major technological upgradings. Featuring permanent magnetic performance, high-level integration, high intelligence, and high internet access, the system has cut its weight by 30% while has improved its energy efficiency by 50%.

Chery Wanda, a subsidiary of Chery Group, is specialized in manufacturing large-, medium-sized buses and light buses. In 2015, it established strategic cooperative ties with CRRC Times Electric. So far, nearly 400 sets of electric driving systems and over 100 units new energy buses have been put into operation in Guizhou.
