On July 13, Foton officially signed an agreement with Germany-based SAP and Continental AG for strategic cooperation. On the same day, Foton officially launched its Toano battery EV-connected automobile in the high-end European market. The entry of Toano in Europe marks a substantial move forward for Foton and it also ushers in an new era for China’s EV-connected vans in the global market, especially the European and U.S. high-end market.
“Industry 4.0” put forward by German government, soon rose to stardom across the world. In 2015, Chinese government also launched “Made in China 2025”, pointing the right direction for China’s manufacturing industry.
