On September 3, just before Hangzhou G20 Summit, Macky Sall, president of Senegal, made a special visit to Higer. Accompanied by Huang Shuping, General Manager of Higer, Mr. Macky Sall visited Higer Exhibition Hall. After learning the bus maker’s history, product line, research & development, new energy bus promotion, and overseas expansion, the president first hopped on one of Higer’s latest luxury coaches, and then on a Higer city bus, trying to gain a first-hand experience of Higer’s vehicles.

“Along with the rising interdependence among different economies across the globe, we welcome more Chinese enterprises to make investments in Senegal, creating a win-win situation for both countries”, said Mr. Macky Sall. He also expressed his hope that Higer could get more involved in his country’s industrialization and make even contributions to the nation’s prosperity.

Having won a number of honorary titles, such as “China’s Famous Brand”, “China’s Well-known Trademark” and “China’s Export Product Exempt from Inspection”, Higer has so far made its way to 108 countries and regions across the globe, with a total export volume of over 30,000 units. In 2004, the bus maker officially entered African market. As of the end of 2015, it has presence in 35 countries in the continent, such as Algeria, Ethiopia, and Nigeria. To adapt to the special road and weather conditions in Africa, Higer has made a number of adjustments. In addition, it has set up 28 service stations and spare parts distribution centers to meet bus operators rising demands.
