With a height of 163 centimeters and over 100 facial expressions, the robot is set to becoming a new sensation in the public transport sector. The robot is able to interact with passengers and provide public transit information, up-to-date news thanks to its 12-inch touch-screen mounted on its chest.

According to the bus maker CRRC Times Electric, C10 is equipped with Yunzhitong management platform, which is independently developed by the bus maker. The platform is not only able to making analysis and calculations, it is also able to monitor the operation status of the vehicle in real-time and report operation data directly to the computer terminals or smart phones. Thus, bus operators are well positioned to gain a full knowledge of the vehicle and its operation.
At the delivery ceremony, CRRC Times Electric, Guangzhou Sunshine Bus and Guangzhou Tribe Technologies also signed a trilateral strategic agreement for cooperation, aiming to further promote the intelligent green public transportation in Guangzhou. Xuan Zongmin, Chairman of Guangdong Urban Public Transportation Association, points out that the operation of 300 units electric buses produced by CRRC Times Electric will greatly promoting intelligent green public transportation in the provincial capital, helping the city’s ambitious drive to cut carbon emissions.
