In 2011, 3,000 units Ankai school buses made their way to Saudi Arabia, making the biggest bus export in that year. In 2012, twenty units double-deckers arrived in the UK, serving at London Olympic Games. In 2014, 1,100 units Ankai buses were shipped to Algeria. In 2015, several batches of Ankai double-deckers were delivered to their customers in the U.S.A., Dubai, and Hong Kong. In 2016, 51 units Ankai A8 coaches were exported to Saudi Arabia. In some countries in the Middle East, Ankai has established a formidable presence with multi-layered marketing systems and service networks. Take Saudi Arabia for example, the country has imported the biggest number of buses from Ankai, among all other bus brands from China.

In 2013, Ankai officially entered Algeria and delivered 20 units buses with a total value of 465,000 USD to the country. The first batch of Ankai buses have well stood the stringent operation test in the country. In June, 2014, Algeria placed a major order of 1,100 units buses with a total value of 36 million USD on Ankai. Along with its rising popularity, Ankai has successfully shifted its business from simply exporting bus products to the country to providing technical assistance and building local public transport networks. At the 11th China Bus Industry Major Influences Awarding Ceremony, Ankai was awarded Algeria Star in 2016.

Apart from the Middle East and Africa, Ankai has also delivered impressive sales performance in the U.S.A., UK, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore and Russia, forming its own unique way of going global.

Since its establishment, Ankai has been committed to producing high-quality and highly reliable bus products and improving people’s well-beings. In order to expand its business in the overseas market, Ankai has been making all-out efforts. In 2010, Ankai Bus International Corporation was set up to better integrate its resources and push forward its internationalization. It has set up a number of offices and spare parts inventories in its overseas market to better serve its customers and solidify its presence. Faced with the cutthroat competition in the global bus market, Ankai has excelled in quality, fully displaying the formidable strengths of China’s bus manufacturing technologies.

From R&D of new technologies, manufacturing procedures, studies of laws and regulations in the foreign countries, and testing of its products, the company has made sure that it fully meets the highest international standards. Thanks to its hard work, it has successfully made its entry to a number of developed countries. Take the US market for example, all Ankai vehicles must meet EPA13 emission standards, which require the emissions of nitrogen oxide and dust 80% and 66% lower than those set by Euro V emission standards.
