JMMC Bus Sales Grew by 26% in 2016

Jingma Motor Co., Ltd. (JMMC), a subsidiary of Jiangling Motors Co., Group (JMC) saw its sales volume of buses up by 26% year on year and its sales revenue up by 39.58% year on year. 
 
 
On the back of its parent company, JMC, JMMC is committed to developing and producing buses and coaches that achieve high safety standards, high reliability, high environmental friendliness, high fuel economy and high travel comforts. In response to the central government’s call for a development road which is innovative, green, open, coordinated and shared by all as well as the strategy to develop urban public transport first and speed up the application of new energy vehicles, JMMC is grasping the great opportunities to realize its own transformation by developing electric buses and hybrid buses. 

Jingma 10.5m pure electric city bus

 
 
Since 2013, JMMC has successfully developed 17 different new energy buses, including the 7.0-meter Fuzun electric bus, the 10.5-meter oil-electric hybrid bus, 11.5-meter oil-electric hybrid bus, and the 11.5-meter gas-electric hybrid bus. In 2015, its new energy buses have made their way in Jiangxi and Guangdong. In 2016, JMMC rolled out 8.2-meter Fuzun electric bus and 10.5-meter electric city bus, both of which have realized commercial operation.      
 
 
Currently, JMMC is chiefly involved in the research, development, production and sales of large- and medium-sized buses and coaches, firefighting vehicles, chassis, and vehicles for special purposes. With four series of brands under its name, namely Fuzun, Fuzhi, Fushun and Fuyun, JMMC boasts a wide spectrum of products, covering over 70 whole vehicles (such as travel coaches, city buses, school buses, recreational vehicles, logistic vehicles) and over 30 chassis. Jiangxi Electronic Engineering Research Center and Nanchang Chassis Engineering Research Center are also under its management. Having successfully developed a number of state-of-art technologies and set up two production bases in Nanchang Xiaolan Economic Development Zone and Wangcheng Changleng Industrial Park, JMMC is capable of rolling out 6,000 units whole buses each year. In addition, the company has set up a well-connected sales & service network across China. Its products have also made their way to a number of countries in Asia, North America and Africa.     
 
 
Set up in 1958, Jiangxi Firefighting Vehicle Manufacturing Factory (also known as Nanchang Automobile Factory) is the predecessor of JMMC. Chiefly involved in developing and producing firefighting vehicles, light-duty SUVs, and buses, Jiangxi Firefighting Vehicle Manufacturing Factory got its current name JMMC in November, 2011. In February, 2013, JMC integrated the business of Nanchang JMC New Power Vehicle Manufacturing Co., Ltd. With JMMC, aiming to strengthen the company’s overall competitiveness in bus manufacturing industry.
