During the Two Sessions in 2017, how to curb the worsening environmental pollution was a hot topic among the delegates. Naturally, new energy vehicles were put under the spotlight again. In the post-subsidizing era, Yutong is determined to grasp every opportunity to strengthen its core competitiveness.

At Yutong’s new energy bus product promotion campaign held in Zhengzhou, over 400 representatives of bus operators from all over China gathered and held insightful talks and discussions on new energy vehicle development and government’s subsidizing policies.

Developing new energy buses is the inevitable trend. Blessed with unprecedented opportunities and confronted with many challenges, Yutong is keenly aware that it must concentrate on technological innovation. In the face of an imminent reshuffle of the industry, it is actively involved in seeking its own transformation and making new technological breakthroughs to beat its rivals.

The continued shrinking of subsidies for new energy vehicles indicates the government’s determination to make new energy buses better meet the market demands and promote their sound development.

Statistics released by CAAM (China Association of Automobile Manufacturers) shows that China’s production and sales volume of new energy vehicles reached 17,972 and 17,596 units respectively in February this year, up by 16% and 30% year on year. Compared with the statistics in January, they grew by 148% and 145%. Coming along with the positive signals at this year’s “Two Sessions” and a series of favorable policies are the stable increase in the sales volume of new energy buses. It is expected that the new energy bus market will recover in March.
