On March 30, ten units Yinlong new energy tour buses were officially put into operation in Shenzhen, attracting wide media and public attention.
These batch of new energy tour buses, bear some similarities in appearance with those trolley buses in Beijing and Shanghai almost 100 years ago. Bringing a sense of nostalgia, these vehicles are all equipped with state-of-art technologies.
Measuring 12 meters in length, 2.55 meters in width and 3.45 meters in height, Yinlong new energy tour bus weighs 18 tons and is mounted with 28 seats. Passengers are able to fully enjoy the beautiful scenery and experience the modern life in Shenzhen while traveling with the bus. Thanks to its lithium titanate batteries which achieve higher safety standards, longer life expectancy and wider temperature range, it takes only about six minutes for the bus to get recharged.
Since its appearance on Tiananmen Square in Beijing in September, 2014, Yinlong new energy tour bus has been gaining rising popularity. So far, it has successfully made its way to a number of cities in China, including Beijing, Shenzen, Shijiazhuang, Zhuhai, Handan, and Baoding, etc.
