Recently, Sunlong delivered 456 units new energy city buses to its customer, Qiqihar Beihua Public Transport Co., Ltd.
Measuring eight or ten meters in length, all these new vehicles (SLK6819 and SLK6109) are powered by electricity and are highly adaptable to the local working conditions. Despite its long and freezing cold winters, they are fully prepared to provide local citizens with greener and more convenient public transport services.
Regarded as the best solution for energy conservation and emission reduction, electric city buses have been gaining rising popularity among the public. In northeast China, due to the extremely cold weather in winter, vehicles powered by electricity must meet stringent technical standards to work smoothly in such demanding working conditions.
Known as “the city of cranes”, Qiqihar is located in Heilongjiang province. Thanks to its beautiful scenery and long history, it has become one of the emerging tourist cities in China in recent years. To meet the rising demand for public transport and build green public transport networks, the city introduced 456 units new energy city buses from Sunlong, the largest deal in the city’s public transport sector.
