On September 18, 2017 Public Transport Week was held in Lanzhou. Yinlong urban tour buses are set to provide green urban transport services for local citizens, helping the city build its green public transport networks.

Participants were invited to board a Yinlong urban tour bus, getting a taste of the local culture. “Urban public transport features high environmental friendliness. It is not only an indispensable part of the construction of urban ecological civilization, but also plays an important role in promoting a green lifestyle among the general public”, says Liu Xiaoming, Vice Minister of China’s Ministry of Transport.

Early this year, Yinlong set up a recharging station in Lanzhou, the first of its kind in the city and the largest one in the northwest China. Along with the introduction of Yinlong electric city buses in the city, Lanzhou now boasts the largest number of electric city buses in northwest China, ushering a new era of green public transport.

Building on its huge success in lithium titanate batteries which endure a temperature range from -50℃ from 60℃, achieve a lifespan of 30 years and boast higher safety standards and efficiency, and can be fully recharged and discharged in six minutes, the fourth generation of high energy density lithium titanate batteries have improved their energy density by 60% and cut their production costs by 40%. Currently, Yinlong’s lithium titanate batteries are widely used in a number of areas, such as new energy vehicles, energy storage, and military services.

In early October, the first batch of Yinlong electric urban tour bus will hit the road in Lanzhou, helping the city improve its urban image and strengthen its overall competitiveness in China. According to Yinlong, the bus is measuring 12 meters in length, 2.55 meters in width, and 3.45 meters in height. Mounted with 24 seats, the bus can load 76 passengers at most.

Currently, Yinlong city tour buses mounted with its lithium titanate batteries are working smoothly in over ten cities across China, including Beijing, Shijiazhuang, Zhuhai, Huhhot.()
