A panelof eleven experts unanimously agreed that the new vehicle body structure is highly ingenious and it will lead the vehicle development in the future.

Yinlong Magnesium Alloy Vehicle Body Structure Makes Several New Breakthroughs

Compared with a steel vehicle body structure, Yinlong magnesium alloy body structure have successfully cut weight by over 50%. Thus, it can greatly help vehicles increase their continuous driving distance and improve their maneuverability.Fully meet the requirement of daily operation, a bus equipped with Yinlong 12-meter magnesium alloy body structure is able to cut energy consumption by over 45%. In comparison with an aluminum alloy body structure, which is yet to realize commercial operation, Yinlong magnesium alloy body structure still can cut vehicle’s body weight by about 20%.

At a ceremony to celebrate the completion of the world’s first 12-meter magnesium alloy city bus, Lai Xinhua, Vice President of Yinlong New Energy, expressed the company’s determination to revampthe global bus manufacturing industry.
