On November 10, a grand ceremony was held at the headquarters of Ankai to mark the delivery of Ankai buses to its customer in Linzhou county, Lhasa, Tibet. It is expected that their arrival in Tibet will significantly improve the travel conditions for local citizens.
The buses delivered to Tibet are all Xingba series measuring six meters in length. Mounted with 17 seats, the vehicle is especially designed for the suburban areas and fully able to meet the harsh operation conditions in Tibet. In addition, it is equipped with an integrated body structure, helping the vehicle achieve higher fuel economy.
Making its official debut in 2008, Ankai Xingba series buses have both CNG and LNG drivelines available. With their length ranging from 5.99 meters to 7.3 meters, these vehicles are chiefly targeted at the short-distance passenger transport. Since its release, the series of buses have been gaining increasing popularity among customers. So far, they have made a formidable presence in a number of cities across China.()
