Recently, New Zealand’s first batch of ten units CRRC electric double-decker buses officially started operation in Wellington.

Immediately after the delivery ceremony, Winston Peters, Premier of New Zealand, Hon David Parker, Minister of Environment Ministry of New Zealand, Julie Anne Genter, Vice Minister of Transportation Ministry, and a number of other distinguished guests took a ride with CRRC electric double-decker buses.

According to the bus operator, Transit, all CRRC electric double-decker buses are operating on the tour bus routes in Wellington.

Equipped with high-speed permanent magnetic motor, the new generation ATS system, EBS, CRRC electric double-decker is tailor-made for its operator in New Zealand. In addition, it delivers impressive power and achieves a much higher level of intelligence. Another highlight of the vehicle is its flexible accession. The bus is able to lower the height of its door step to provide more travel convenience for seniors, the disabled and the young.
