On July 11, France-based Easymile and Ligier Group, two leading players in self-driving vehicle industry, paid an official visit to Nanjing Golden dragon Bus Co., Ltd. (“Nanjing Golden Dragon” for short).
Headquartered in Toulouse, Easymile is committed to developing and promoting self-driving technologies and vehicles.
As one of its fist products, EZ10, a short-distance mini-bus, has already been successfully commercialized. Currently, EZ10 is mainly manufactured in Vichy, France. Since its debut in 2014, the bus has made its way to over 50 cities in 17 countries across the world.
Without a steering wheel, an accelerator or a brake, the bus can load 12 passengers at most and reach an average cruising speed of 20km/h. In addition, its maximum speed can reach 40 km/h. After being fully recharged, the EZ10 can work continuously for 14 hours.
While visiting Nanjing Golden Dragon, the two companies discussed possibilities of mass producing EZ10 in China. They also expressed their plan to set up comprehensive cooperation ties with Nanjing Golden Dragon.()
