At IAA 2018, CRRC Electric officially revealed its new generation intelligent bus equipped with a super electric motor, its upgraded T-power and its brand new intelligent transportation solution featuring new concept urban light buses.
“We have attended IAA for several consecutive years. By constantly strengthening ourselves, we are fully confident to compete with our rivals on the global stage, especially those in Europe,” said Shen Yuxiang, president of CRRC Electric.
At IAA 2018, a number of European bus makers rolled out autonomous, connected and electric (ACE) vehicle solutions. “We do possess a competitive edge in this area,” Shen pointed out.
According to Shen, CRRC Electric has already mastered key technologies for manufacturing electricity-powered buses. Its newly upgraded T-power, which was showcased at IAA 2018 aroused keen interest among European customers.
Boasting a wide spectrum of new energy buses, including hybrid ones, electric ones, and plug-in hybrid ones, CRRC Electric fully meets the most stringent safety and emission standards in the world.
With a history of just eleven years, CRRC Electric has already established a solid reputation both at home and abroad. Faced with the increasingly intense competition in the industry, the bus maker is committed to promoting the fast and sound development of safer and greener vehicles for customers across the globe.
Despite all the daunting challenges, CRRC Electric is also blessed with great opportunities in Europe as Germany and France, the two major powers in Europe, have cleared stated they are going to phase out fossil-fuel powered vehicles by 2040 at the latest.
So far, CRRC Electric has already established strong cooperative ties with several vehicle research institutes, design companies and end customers. Its bus products have already gained entry permit from EU. Currently, CRRC Electric buses can be easily found in Italy, France, Switzerland and Austria.
