On October 26, 65 units Ankai electric buses arrived in Feixi County, Anhui province, starting to provide greener and more comfortable transportation services for local citizens.
Measuring 6.5 meters in length, all these electric buses will replace those fossil fuel powered buses that served the county for many years.
According to some officials from Feixi county, the percentage of its purchases of new energy buses has risen from 60% in 2015 to 100% this year.
Set up in April, 2013, Feixi Public Transport Co., Ltd. only had 30 units buses back then and operated only three bus routes. In just five years, the number of its buses and bus routes has jumped to 275 and 25 respectively. To further improve its services and provide greener transportation for local citizens, the bus operator is planning to gradually replace all its fossil fuel powered vehicles in the coming few years.
