On December 3, BYD France officially rolled out its first two units electric buses in its production base located in Beauvais City. After a ceremony held to mark their completion, the two vehicles will be put into operation in Beauvais City later this month.

In addition, they will be put under the operation of Transdev with an estimated daily mileage of 160 km. According to BYD, the two buses will fully be able to serve passengers for a whole day after being recharged at night.

“We are extremely pleased to see the delivery of the first two units BYD electric buses. We will continue to work closely with our customers and provide greener and more customized buses for our customers,” said He Yipeng, BYD Europe.

So far, the number of BYD electric buses in operation in Europe has exceeded 600 units, making BYD the leading supplier of electric buses in European market. In the whole world, BYD has put 45,000 units electric buses on the road, earning a solid reputation among customers.
